Just down the road from St Louis, come stay in this rustically charming historic farmhouse for a weekend of cozying up with a good book and some great gals.

This weekend includes:

  • 2 nights shared lodging

  • Special Continental breakfast with mimosas

  • Gourmet grazing/charcuterie dinner

  • Reading-themed goodie bag (worth $75!)

  • Nightly bonfire

  • Optional wine swap-and-share.

The Details

This historical home is on several acres for good weather strolling, and features an outdoor firepit for cozy reading and evening chatting.

Sleeping spaces are shared as this unique home has two main rooms for sleeping. If you are not comfortable sharing a room, then this trip may not be for you, and we will see you another time.

Prices are for one person per bed, and for everything listed above.

Twin Day Bed: $275

Twin Trundle Bed: $250

Add $150 per extra guest if you are sharing a bed. Bed selection is first come, first reserved. Prices are based on bed size/comfort, and are non-negotiable. Payment is due in full at the time of booking. No refunds, but you may transfer your reservation with approval.

Shared Spaces

This home is located in Bonne Terre, MO, just over an hour from the St Louis area, making it the perfect mini getaway.

Guests are welcome to arrive after 4 pm on Friday, and stay until noon on Sunday. Don’t forget to bring:

  • BOOKS!

  • Earplugs

  • Eye mask/cover

  • Book light

  • Headphones/earbuds

  • Usual toiletries

  • Comfy clothes

  • MORE BOOKS

  • Preferred Snacks

  • Bottle of wine if you want to do a share & taste

  • Preferred beverages (limited coffee, tea, and soda will be available)

Everyone is responsible for their own Friday dinner, Saturday lunch, and Sunday breakfast; there are several restaurants in town. Please bring any specialty foods as required by your diet

Friday dinner options: dining out, group potluck (everyone brings something), pizza night ($$), or lasagna dinner with salad & garlic bread ($$).
